EXTRA PROJECTS

Reddit Studio Event with T-Pain

We put together a Reddit experience in a room at the SuperBowl to show people what Reddit is all about. T-Pain was the perfect voice to explain what r/SuperbOwl is at the SuperBowl.

Dive Into Anything User Acquisition Ad

Back when our tagline was “Dive Into Anything”, I creative directed this video made by an agency. We wanted to showcase the wide variety of communities you can dive into on Reddit.

NASCAR x Reddit

To highlight our community r/nascar, we sponsored a driver at Talladega. We worked with NASCAR to design Ryan Vargas’ ride.

Adobe x Reddit: Photoshop Battles

We partnered with Adobe to create a live event to highlight a fan favorite community on Reddit: r/photoshopbattles. Participates were divided into teams to discover who could create the dankest memes. With hosts like Patti Harrison and Trixie Mattel, the event was quite the hoot.

Explaining Reddit

Reddit is so much for so many, and—admittedly for a new user—can be very complicated to grasp.
The problem we were presented with was a huge one that effected every part of the business:
How do you explain what Reddit is to an outsider?
So, we ideated the "Explaining Reddit” campaign to boost our new user retention, and it worked! Here’s the supercut of all the videos we made for the digital campaign (appearing across Google, and paid social).

Venmo John

This campaign is a fresh take on the Lucas campaign, but with ABC’s The Bachelorette star John Graham.
As one of the original developers at Venmo, he is affectionately known by Bachelor Nation as “Venmo John”,
which gave us the perfect excuse to re-launch this classic campaign (starring John this time!) during the Bachelor in Paradise finale.

I was the primary art director on this campaign, and solo directed the shoot.
